Tell an Unbelieving Truth Seeker – Who God Is
Are you looking into the very, very important subject of “Who is God”? If you are, we would call you “Truth Seeker”, while still unbelieving. Oddly enough, one of the countless characteristics of God is that “He is Truth”. So, if you have answered “yes” and your answer is truthful, you have evoked God’s presence already. He is just that close to us.
Who is God? Is He Good? What Else Is He?
All three persons, God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are called the Trinity and together, they are God. God is immutable. God has always been and always will be God. God is alive, and He never stops working for good. He is with us right now. God exists outside of time.
God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, among many, many other things. God is in complete control of His Creation, our justification, sanctification, glorification, and the execution of His Perfect Plan.
Preface to God’s Story
God loves us. He created us in his image. God wants a perfect relationship with us forever. But, Adam’s sin in the garden destroyed it. Adam made us enemies with our own creator. But God has made a way to get us back. Don’t worry, God’s Son, Jesus Christ, will do all the work. We can do nothing. No matter how complicated, tragic, diseased, or sinful the devil makes this current world seem to be, God’s simple truth is written. Satan looses. We win. Let’s go find out how.
What Does God Say?
God has the greatest story ever to be told. He mainly tells it through an infallible Bible, His Word. God uses people like you and me, the Prophets, the Judges, the Angels, the Messiah, and even a Donkey to tell it. He speaks very clearly through our families, the natural world, His Church, especially small group members, the universe at large and more. God speaks every language ever spoken. He created them and has spoken to billions and billions of people so far. God is also the best listener ever. We pray, He listens!
